Heat exchangers

Among the IMCAR’s production, there is also a line of plate bending machines designated for the production of heat exchangers and pressure’s tanks. Heat exchangers are machines used in the petrochemical industry, every time there’s an exchange of heat between fluids. Pressure’s tanks are vats used for the storage of gas or fluids at a different pressure from outside. These devices are generally characterized by stainless steel structures of large thickness, obtained by bending plates from 20mm to 80mm.

In the production of these kind of machines is required an absolute precision. Besides, pre-bending processes are necessary in the making of heat exchangers and pressure’s tanks, in order to obtain desired tolerances and allow pipe’s bending. Let’s not forget that IMCAR also produces machines for the making of bottoms.
