IMCAR half pipe installations integrate a fully automated process that includes forming, bending and welding of the half pipes directly on the body of the tank. The stainless steel half pipe, obtained from a coil, is bended according to the diameter of the tank and applied to its external surface. The automatic management of process parameters, such as width, pitch and diameter, is guaranteed by an advanced CNC system, ensuring high repeatability and constant quality.
IMCAR technology eliminates intermediate operations such as spot welding, allowing the cooling half pipe to be welded directly while the tank rotates on motorized positioners. This continuous system reduces processing times and optimizes the production cycle.
